Hopefully you all will have received the wedding invitation by the end of the 2nd week of October.

We encourage everyone to find a place to stay and book early especially if staying in Playa del Carmen since this is a smaller town without major American chain resorts. You can either research hotel chains yourself, via our links, or contact our travel agent. If you do plan to use our travel agent, please contact her ASAP because the hotels in Playa del Carmen are smaller and fill up quicker.

However, if you can, try to hold off on buying your airplane tickets until early next year 2009. Prices right now are above $500 but have dropped about $100 in the last 3 weeks already. Hopefully, after the economy calms down a bit, the prices will be cheaper. In the past, we have bought our tickets 5 months ahead of vacationing in Playa del Carmen and it seems to have worked out well.

If there is an organized group of you arriving and departing the same time from Playa, we can arrange to have a van pick you up. Around $10-$15 each for between 8-10 people for a round trip airport transfer will be the cost. Or, as we have done ourselves, take the bus for $8 per person.
